"The Institution of Engineers of Kenya has over 2000 members comprising civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical and agricultural engineers who hold regular meetings each month.
It is governed by a 14-member Council. It organised lectures, industrial site visits and get togethers in various parts of the country so that members get to know each other.
The Institution produces a 36 page bi-monthly Journal called "Kenya Engineer" which contains news on ongoing projects in Kenya, research and technical articles, news on members activities, reports on student groups activities and reports on Council matters. The Journal is distributed free of charge to all members." |
